July has been a really important month for this nascent blog, approaching 4000 views for the month as it draws to a close. Subscriptions have also soared; we passed the 50 subscriber milestone this month, thanks in no small part to our friends from the forums at twoplustwo. As I noted in yesterday’s post on playing connected flops in 3-bet pots, I delayed this month’s subscriber post in response to the number of new subscriptions. A new subscriber post will go up early in August. Thanks again to all of my readers for their continued interest in applied theoretical content for this great, crazy game of Omaha.

WCOOP

I am putting together a package of the events that I shall be playing in this year’s WCOOP on Pokerstars. The events that I shall be playing total buy-ins of $4925 (including estimated rebuys) and I am considering selling 40-50% of my action at no markup in minimum increments of 5%. The full event listing is as follows:

Event 03: $320 PL Omaha
Event 09: $265 PL Omaha

[Knockout] Event 12: $215 PL Omaha H/L [6-Max, 1R1A] Event 15: $215 PL Omaha [6-Max] Event 26: $215 PL Omaha [Turbo, 1R1A] Event 34: $320 PL Omaha [6-Max, 1R1A] Event 45: $320 PL Omaha [Rebuys, 6-Max] Event 48: $320 Mixed NL Hold’em/PL Omaha
Event 53: $320 PL Omaha H/L
Event 59: $215 NL Omaha H/L
Event 60: $700 PL Omaha [Heads Up, No Late Reg] (2-Day Event)

At the moment, all I am looking for is a mutually non-binding show of interest. So if you would consider buying action let me know how much you want but you are not committed at this stage. I have a couple of people who have already expressed an interest in taking a percentage, so I cannot guarantee availability at this juncture.

In addition, I will take separate offers on ‘Event 56: $2,100 PL Omaha [6-Max]’ which I am happy to sell in 10% minimum shares. Please don’t invest in a one-off event unless you are financially comfortable and looking for a +EV sweat. I play PLO MTTs to win, and will not be locking up a min-cash just because it’s a large buy-in event.

Goodwill from my readers is far more important to me than any staking opportunity, so please only ask for shares if you think it will be fun and profitable for you to do so! If you have any questions feel free to get in touch.

Good luck at the tables,

Quad
